Today I discovered a new way to handle stress (and other negative emotions):

Cleaning.

Normally, I absolutely <em>hate</em> cleaning. It’s the last thing I want to be doing. But it turns out that it’s the only positive thing I can focus on when I’d rather be screaming or crying or otherwise being ridiculous and emotional.

While I may not have had the best evening, my kitchen is now much cleaner than it was half an hour ago.
